electro-theremins|ET-1
- info The ET-1 is hand made with stained maple wood, with a 3/8" lexan top control panel and front output panel. All components are selected for durability and stability over a wide range of temperature and humidity levels. The ET-1 ouptuts a pure sine wave or a triangle wave at the flick of a switch. If you don't know what an Electro-Theremin is, check out This Website, it is also sometimes referred to as a "Tannerin", after the inventor Paul Tanner. I've made several electro-theremins over the past few years, and the ET-1 is the product of all that work. The ET-1 in the picture is the final prototype, and some changes have been made for the production version. The spelling mistake on the control panel ("thermin") has been corrected, and the brass bushing on the slider is going to be replaced with a teflon or vinyl bushing. Blue LED's on the control panel of this version will also be replaced with red LED's for a more vintage-synthesizer look. Controls include a slider with a momentary switch (for tapping out staccato stuff), a volume knob mounted on the control panel, waveform selection (sine, triangle) and a switch to bypass the momentary switch for hands-free operation. - specs
